Prime Life are seeking a Full time Day Care Assistant for Springhill Care Home in Accrington. The home supports 116 residents with a range of physical, age-related and mental health needs, requiring a caring and respectful approach from staff.

The role offers hourly pay from £12.96 to £13.32, with opportunities to learn and progress under the Quality Matters team. Benefits include fully funded DBS, comprehensive Holiday Pay, Refer a Friend scheme and Bluelight access.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and desire to help residents.
• Prior experience as Care Assistant or Support worker is desirable.
• Full training provided.
• Able to support residents with age-related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and evening care.
• Conduct welfare checks during the night.
• Support residents with dining and hydration.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment.
• Provide friendship and companionship to residents.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote well-being.
• Welcome family members and assist with enquiries.
