Job Description:

Reception (EYFS) Class Teacher, Rugby, September start, full-time job.

A wonderful village school based in Rugby requires a class teacher from September until the end of the academic year. This role is permanent, but they may consider temporary to permanent - ECT's are welcome to apply.

This is a 2-form entry school and therefore planning will be shared across your specific year group. They would like the successful candidate to be empathetic, understanding, and a team player.

This is a full-time role, starting in September 2025.

In addition to planning educational, fun, and creative lessons, you will also be responsible for logging pupil progress, undertaking parents' evenings, writing end-of-year reports, and attending staff meetings.

What you'll need to succeed

  • To be a successful teacher, you must have good knowledge of the primary school EYFS and KS1 National Curriculum.
  • You should be able to adapt to different teaching methods and environments and be confident in doing so.
  • You must have experience teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT.
