Roles and Responsibilities as a Care Assistant

Each person is unique, which is why we develop care plans specifically tailored to our customers and their needs. This may include any of the following:

• Providing personal care duties such as showering, dressing, toileting and continence care.
• Administering/assisting with medication
• Support with any dietary needs and fluid intake
• Manual handling, using equipment where necessary
• Light household tasks such as hoovering, laundry and dishes
• Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full
