Job description

Koub Coffee is a concept location showcasing a fusion between old and new.

We are a specialty coffee focused brand that gained its start in UAE with our well established shops in Dubai. We are excited to share and explore an intersection of coffee cultures, showcasing an ever evolving range of single origin coffees on hand brew and espresso, supplied by Colonna and other guest roasters. We highlight the value of genuine hospitality in Emirati culture and additionally offer our customers the chance to try coffee in the traditional Emirati style of preparation and enjoy the flavors and sweet treats of this vibrant culinary landscape. This is an excellent opportunity for people with good prior hospitality experience to join the company at a period of expansion, and to have key input in growing and developing the KOUB brand.

Job Summary

• Develop deeper coffee knowledge and the importance of strong teamwork.
• Day-to-day operation of the site in terms of quality and consistent service.
• Contribute to the upkeep of the shop.
• Involvement in team training and development of specialty coffee skills - Work with our barista team to develop coffee knowledge.

Salary / Benefits

• £12.50/hr depending on experience for baristas.
• Other roles of responsibility are also available with pay negotiable depending on experience.

Requirements

• Interest and experience of specialty coffee.
• Experience and enjoyment of hospitality roles.
• Self-starters.
• Friendly and engaging customer service.
• A strong interest in Food & Beverage.
• Quick-thinking problem solving.
• Desire to develop skills.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 desired but not essential.
• Arabic speaking desirable but not essential.
