Job summary

Protocol Education Limited in the Peterlee area is seeking a dedicated Full-Time 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a student, helping with learning activities and wellbeing.

You will provide 1:1 support throughout the school day, work with teaching staff and parents, and help the student build confidence, engagement and independent learning.

Location: Peterlee Area
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:00pm | Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm
Contract: Full-Time

We are currently recruiting a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a student within a welcoming and supportive school in the Peterlee area. This role would suit someone who is patient, nurturing, and able to build strong professional relationships.

The Role

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Supporting learning activities both inside and outside of the classroom
• Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence
• Assisting with emotional regulation and wellbeing
• Working closely with teaching staff and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
