Job summary

Epic Games is seeking a Web Engineer Intern to join the Tools & Portals team within Epic Online Services in London. You’ll contribute to full‑stack features with React, Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind, while learning backend services, cloud infra, and AI‑assisted dev workflows.

You’ll work with guidance to build production-ready code, deploy to AWS/Kubernetes, and gain hands‑on experience across the full software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Interest in full-stack web development and learning modern engineering technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS with guidance from the team.
• Contribute to backend services and APIs using Next.js, NestJS, and Node.js.
• Learn and apply development practices for production infrastructure including AWS, Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Write, test, review, and deploy production code alongside experienced engineers.
• Learn and apply AI-assisted software development workflows throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to internal tools and developer-facing platforms used across Epic Games.
