Full Stack Web Developer with strong experience in PHP and a solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery is required for a well-established company based in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience) + benefits

LOCATION: Hinckley, Leicestershire (LE10)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week

Job Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full Stack Web Developer to maintain, optimise, and expand the company’s eCommerce platform, including their custom-built fenestration design and ordering system. The role involves working closely with Marketing, Operations, and other stakeholders to implement creative designs and marketing campaigns on the website.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain custom PHP/jQuery HTML pages and eCommerce features.
  • Maintain the custom back-end ordering and delivery system.
  • Implement website changes supporting campaigns, landing pages, and visual content.
  • Support CRO efforts by improving user journeys, checkout flows, and interactions.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain website functionality and speed.
  • Implement new features based on business needs.
  • Monitor and respond to site issues promptly.
  • Contribute to planning discussions with technical solutions.
  • Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and maintainability.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience with PHP.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Ability to leverage developer communities for problem-solving.
  • Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced team.
  • Excellent written English skills.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and SEO/analytics knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM or email marketing integrations is desirable.
  • Experience with A/B testing is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Strong communication and team skills.
