Role Overview

We are looking for a PHP, HTML5, and CSS expert, preferably with experience in WordPress and Magento content management systems (though not essential). The ideal candidate is accustomed to translating UX designs into HTML5 web pages, integrating them into content management systems, and writing or editing the related back-end PHP code.

Dedicated to delivering high-quality and elegant web solutions, you will split your time between developing new websites and supporting existing client sites.

Your Experience

Proven experience designing and building websites with standards-compliant HTML5 and CSS, possibly using pattern libraries and SASS grid systems. A portfolio showcasing impressive live websites you have built or contributed to is essential.

Experience in a digital agency is desirable, but roles involving the development of multiple websites are also acceptable. You must include links to your live websites in your application.

Skills and Expertise

• Proficiency with PHP and MySQL
• Knowledge of modern HTML and CSS techniques, including CSS pre-processors like LESS and SASS
• Experience with JavaScript and frameworks such as JQuery, Knockout, Prototype, and ES6
• Experience with WordPress CMS and Magento eCommerce CMS is ideal
• Understanding of web server hosting, including Linux, Apache, RHEL, and Nginx, is beneficial
• Experience with version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, or Subversion is desirable
