Job Description:

The Team:

S&P Global corporates value stream technology team consists of geographically diversified software engineers responsible for developing scalable solutions by working directly with the product development team. Responsibilities and Impact:

• Enable S&P ratings business to deliver top-tier analytical, commercial, and customer experiences through building feature-rich solutions including big data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, and workflow capabilities.
• Design and architecture exposure, ensuring quality across diverse technology components developed by geographically dispersed engineers.
• Deep knowledge of system architecture, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
• Proficiency with SDLC methodologies like Agile and TDD.
• Experience with development tools such as IDE, web & application server, GIT, Azure DevOps, unit testing, and defect management tools.
• Domain knowledge in Financial Industry and Capital Markets is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Mentor teams, innovate, experiment, and present ideas to stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in application development and support.
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying complex projects.
• Strong skills in React, HTML5, XML, CSS, and Java.
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST API/microservices architecture.
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests.
• SQL proficiency; Python knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, Load Balancer, Security Group, EMR, Lambda, S3, Glue, etc.).
• Experience with DevOps and container platforms.
