Job summary

Dentro Talent is assisting a financial services client in Birmingham to hire two Full Stack Engineers. You will work across Python/Node on the backend and React with TypeScript on the frontend, building secure, scalable features and API integrations.

You will join a hybrid team in central Birmingham, collaborating in sprints with daily stand-ups and a focus on secure software practices and DevOps-minded workflows.

Qualifications

• Proficient backend and frontend development with emphasis on integration layers via APIs.
• Strong software engineering principles and secure-by-design mindset.
• Experience with modern JS/TS frontend frameworks and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core applications with Python/Node on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend.
• Work on API integrations and data layer improvements.
• Apply DevOps principles, agile practices, and containerised deployments (Kubernetes desirable).

Full Stack Engineer - Software Development - Python/Node - React - Typescript - Microservices - API - DevOps - Birmingham - 1-2 days per week onsite

Dentro Talent have been engaged by a growing business in Financial Services to find 2 Full Stack Engineers with strong experience in both backend and frontend development and a keen eye on integration layers using API's.

The most important thing is that you have strong software principals and have operated in environments where building secure applications is at the heart of what you do, but their tech stack is across Python & Node on the backend, React with Typescript on the Frontend and SQL and MySQL DB. You'll need to be a modern engineer and able to follow DevOps principals and agile ways of working operating in sprints with daily stand ups.

The work is on some of the core applications that exist in the business enhancing and developing new features as well as integrations of external products and services, they tend to use kubernetes to deploy containerised applications and any experience in this would be useful but not essential.

You will be working in a dedicated team who operate hybrid working in central Birmingham.
