Our development team builds and supports the systems that keep the business moving, from customer and order management through to logistics and internal operations.
We’re looking for a PHP Full Stack Developer to join the team and help us maintain, improve and develop these platforms. You’ll be working primarily with PHP, Laravel and MySQL, alongside JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST APIs and Vue.js.
There’s plenty of variety in the role. You could be investigating an issue within a live system one day and developing an enhancement or working on the redevelopment of an existing module the next.
As you get to know our systems and the business behind them, you’ll have the opportunity to take greater ownership of development projects and help shape how key parts of our platforms evolve.

PHP, Laravel and MySQL are at the core of this role. You don’t need to be an expert across every part of the stack, but you should be comfortable working across both backend and frontend development.
Developing and maintaining applications using PHP and Laravel
Building new features and improving existing functionality
Investigating and resolving issues within live systems
Working with MySQL, including queries and optimisation
Developing and integrating REST APIs
Supporting frontend development with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Contributing to components built with Vue.js
Improving and redeveloping existing application modules
Taking increasing ownership of enhancements and development projects
Balancing planned development work with the needs of live systems
We’re looking for someone with commercial development experience who can get to grips with existing systems, solve problems and contribute ideas rather than simply work through a list of tickets.
You’ll need:
Commercial experience with PHP, Laravel and MySQL
Strong backend development skills
Experience working with live production systems
Good working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Experience developing or integrating REST APIs
Confidence troubleshooting and debugging existing applications
A practical approach to problem solving
The ability to manage both reactive issues and planned development work
Previous experience working with internal systems, CRM, order processing, logistics or other operational platforms would also be useful. Experience with Vue.js is a bonus rather than a requirement.
You’ll get exposure to different systems and different areas of the business rather than working on one application or project. You’ll have the opportunity to build a strong understanding of how our platforms work, contribute to their ongoing development and gradually take ownership of larger enhancements and redevelopment projects.
