Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright in London is building a new R&D capability focused on data-driven and AI-enabled products for legal services. The Frontend-led Full-Stack Product Engineer will own user-facing applications, turning complex workflows into clear experiences while building integrations and services.

You will deploy and operate React/Next.js apps in Azure, implement enterprise authentication with Microsoft Entra ID, and collaborate with AI engineers and designers to deliver repeatable, scalable

Qualifications

• At least three years’ professional experience in full-stack software engineering, in a product or SaaS environment.
• Strong TypeScript and React experience, preferably including Next.js or a comparable production web framework.
• Good backend capability with Node.js, Python or comparable server-side technologies, including APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Experience deploying and operating responsive React or Next.js applications in Azure (App Service / Container Apps).
• Experience implementing enterprise authentication and authorisation using Microsoft Entra ID, including SSO and OAuth/OIDC.
• A strong eye for product design and usability, including accessibility and responsive design.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend architecture and user experience for R&D products from prototype to production release.
• Build accessible, responsive web applications and internal tools using TypeScript, React, and Next.js patterns.
• Turn workflow discovery and product requirements into simple user journeys and delivery plans.
• Create intuitive experiences for AI-assisted work, including search, document review, outputs, and review steps.
• Apply visual and interaction-design judgement to hierarchy, loading states, and progressive disclosure.
• Maintain reusable frontend components in line with the design system for speed and consistency.
• Develop API integrations and use shared AI, data and platform services where needed.
• Integrate data sources, Microsoft 365, repositories and business systems into workflows.
• Deploy and operate React/Next.js apps in Azure, with hosting, monitoring and CI/CD pipelines.
