CuspAI is hiring a full-time Product Engineer to lead the inception and development of internal application suites used by researchers. You will be the foundational architect within Platform Engineering, delivering usable, scalable tools that streamline discovery workflows.

You will design backend services in Python, create intuitive UIs, and collaborate across AI research, data engineering, and security teams to support high-quality, scalable products.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering.
• Backend expertise with Python and modern web frameworks (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
• Proficient with Node.js and frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or TypeScript).
• Builder at heart, able to make architectural decisions from scratch.
• Product-focused mindset, improving user experience and developer productivity.
• Motivated by enabling world-changing scientific discovery, even without a science background.

• Lead the development of a suite of internal apps as first-class products with scalability.
• Translate high-level research needs into technical roadmaps and intuitive software.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of internal tools from architecture to deployment.
• Design backend services in Python interfacing with AI/research engines.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ingest and visualize complex data.
• Develop clean, responsive UIs for researchers to interact with data.
• Work with AI Researchers and Data Engineers to align tools with infra and security.
