Job summary
Connells Group UK in Milton Keynes seeks a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer (Contract) to join our Group Technology team. You will develop, support and enhance business systems using .NET technologies and SQL Server, with a hybrid pattern of one or two days per week in the Milton Keynes office.
The role emphasizes modern web app development, Azure cloud, AI integration, TDD testing and strong SQL Server skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with modern web architectures and frameworks.
- Experience with Azure cloud services.
- Experience using AI in software teams.
- Strong SQL Server knowledge.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Stay up to date with best practices in software development and deployment.
- Implement coding standards and best practices.
- Use operational data to improve stability and performance of applications.
- Use AI to improve productivity.
- Maintain documentation and release notes.
- Consider application security throughout the lifecycle.
- Identify dependencies and mitigate risks across the organization.
- Work solo or with other engineers on projects as needed.
- Create secure, high-performing n-tier applications using SQL.
- Contribute to improving team processes and methodologies.
- Design and develop commercial/enterprise web applications.
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with teams to align with testing frameworks.
