Software Engineer

Key Requirements:

• British National, resident in the UK for at least 5 years, with no absence exceeding 28 days in any one year.
• Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance at SC level.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer, you will be part of an Agile team supporting complex, mission-critical projects within Central Government. Your responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and testing software solutions.
• Using open-source libraries and components.
• Building continuous integration pipelines with tools like GitLab to ensure software quality and security.
• Deploying software to various environments, including AWS, Azure, and private clouds.
• Engaging in all software lifecycle phases: requirements analysis, implementation, delivery, training, support, and maintenance.
• Regularly interacting with clients.
