Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join a growing development team. You will design, build and maintain Java/J2EE applications across frontend and backend, working through the full lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

You will integrate with internal and third-party systems via APIs, participate in code reviews, and help shape best practices. A strong foundation in Java/React, RESTful APIs, and containerisation is expected.

Qualifications

• Design, develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications across both front-end and back-end systems.
• Work on the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, deployment and support.
• Build and maintain integrations between internal and third-party systems using APIs and web services.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues and help drive development best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support build, release and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve existing applications and deliver new technology solutions.
