We’re hiring a Full Stack Engineering Manager to lead engineering at Allocatr , a UK-based SaaS platform transforming how MSPs manage Microsoft 365 billing, licensing, and cost optimisation. Built from the ground up for Microsoft CSPs and partners, Allocatr integrates tightly with Microsoft Graph API, Entra ID, Azure AD B2B, SharePoint and Teams to surface actionable insights, automate reconciliation, and reduce licensing waste across tenants.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work closely with the founding team to shape the product, set the engineering vision, and lay the technical foundation for growth. You’ll lead a small team of full stack developers, setting direction on everything from software architecture and coding standards to sprint planning and DevOps maturity. You will be our internal voice of technical excellence - mentoring engineers, ensuring high-quality releases, and making smart trade-offs between speed and scalability.
You will need deep technical knowledge of Microsoft’s cloud ecosystem, practical experience building scalable SaaS applications, and a startup mindset focused on speed, clarity, and impact.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in full stack development with strong exposure to Microsoft-based stacks (.NET, Azure, Microsoft Graph, etc.).
- 2+ years in a leadership or management role, with responsibility for mentoring engineers, running agile sprints, and owning delivery timelines.
- Proficient in front-end frameworks (React/TypeScript) and modern UI component libraries.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Graph API, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and Azure cloud architecture (App Services, Functions, B2B auth, etc.)
- Experience with secure data modelling and integrations across M365 environments.
- DevOps knowledge – CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform), and release automation.
- Ability to write scalable, maintainable, and secure code across the full stack.
- Comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced, fully remote team.
- Strong architectural decision-making skills, balancing speed with technical debt awareness.
- Prior experience working in or with a startup, SaaS business, or MSP-aligned software is a big plus.
- Fully remote working – we’re a digital-first company.
- Work with a cutting-edge stack focused entirely on Microsoft technologies.
- Influence the product from the ground up – your voice shapes Allocatr’s future.
- Competitive startup salary.
- Lean, agile team culture with flat hierarchy and direct access to founders.
- Early-stage traction and exposure to UK, EU & US investor networks.
- Access to leading tools and training in Microsoft cloud engineering.
