• Comfort in an early-stage startup with high pace and ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You care about solving problems for African businesses and customers.
• Based in London or Paris and fluent in French & English.
• Experience in Fintech, payments, wallets or ledgers.
• Expertise in security and data protection for FCA-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the product process end-to-end from ideation to UI/backend and deployment.
• Communicate features internally and externally, gather feedback at launch.
• Define and manage delivery milestones aligning engineering and product priorities.
• Build intuitive and performant web interfaces for business users.
• Implement security and data protection best practices in a regulated environment.
• Drive architectural decisions to improve scalability, observability, and modularity.
• Promote code quality via testing, documentation, and reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team growth.
• Represent engineering in cross-functional discussions with Finance/Operations/Senior Leadership.
• Set and uphold team standards for communication and collaboration.
