Descrial is hiring full-stack engineers to build the product end‑to‑end, from database to interface. The role emphasizes security, tenant isolation, auditability and a polished user experience for confidential financial data.

You’ll use TypeScript and React on the frontend and Python (FastAPI or Django) on the backend, with PostgreSQL on AWS. Join a nine‑person engineering cohort spanning full‑stack, front‑end and back‑end in King’s Cross, London.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with full-stack ownership in production.
• Strong TypeScript and React proficiency.
• Strong Python backend experience with FastAPI or Django in production.
• Strong PostgreSQL data modelling and SQL usage (ORMs).
• Experience building multi-tenant authentication/authorization in a B2B product.
• Experience with AWS or comparable cloud, CI/CD and containers.
• Track record of setting technical direction and leading architecture decisions.
• Daily use of AI coding tools and evaluation of where they help.

Responsibilities

• Own features from schema to screen and ship in short cycles with product managers, designers, QA and client teams.
• Build data-heavy interfaces in TypeScript/React with thoughtful state management and accessible UI.
• Design REST services in async Python with FastAPI or Django and secure OpenAPI contracts.
• Model domain data in PostgreSQL with multi-tenant isolation and efficient indexing.
• Implement authentication and authorization end-to-end, including SSO and JWT checks.
• Integrate with client systems (e.g., Microsoft 365) using OAuth and secure secrets handling.
• Collaborate with AI/ML team to bring LLM-powered features into the product.
