Full Stack Engineer | TypeScript | React | Node.js | AI

London | Hybrid (3 days onsite)

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join an ambitious AI startup using modern engineering and AI to transform an industry still heavily reliant on outdated systems and manual processes.

The team is building a new generation of software that brings together complex data, intelligent automation and modern technology to change how critical work gets done.

You'll join a small engineering team with the opportunity to build from the ground up. From developing full-stack features to integrating AI models into live products, you'll have real ownership over what you build and a say in the technical direction as the company grows.

What you'll be working on

• Building, delivering and owning full-stack features using TypeScript, Node.js and React
• Developing backend services, APIs and integrations with external systems
• Integrating AI and machine learning models into production applications
• Working across databases, cloud infrastructure and deployment environments
• Building reliable, secure systems with a focus on performance, scalability and maintainability
• Working closely with the engineering team to influence technical decisions and product development

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with TypeScript, Node.js and React, ideally including NestJS and Python experience is beneficial
• Experience designing and building APIs, backend services and integrating external systems
• Proven experience deploying and maintaining applications in production, with end-to-end ownership
• Experience with databases, ideally PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS
• Strong understanding of system design, security and building reliable, scalable applications
• An interest in AI-powered products, ideally with experience integrating AI or ML models into production

You'll be joining an ambitious startup at an early stage of growth, with the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful engineering challenges and help shape how the product develops.

Working within a small engineering team, you'll have exposure across the full technology stack, collaborate closely with experienced engineers and contribute to products being used in real-world environments.

Location: London, hybrid (3 days onsite)
