We're looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our Engineering team, to help deliver our digital roadmap, develop our people and capabilities, and support Engineering strategy to drive improvements across all teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a product-led operating model, where all our teams are value stream aligned with the different resource types needed to get from idea to completion. We are focused on building out our Single Digital Platform, centered around Salesforce, but involving a significant .NET estate, use of Azure services, and React frontend web applications.

At AXA, we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. 'Away from home' means working at your assigned local office or traveling based on business needs. Available local office locations include Leeds, Middlesbrough, Bristol, Tunbridge Wells, and Bournemouth. We’re also open to flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Working in an agile delivery team to deliver secure and quality solutions to customers
  2. Ensuring continual shift of secure, quality, and tested code activity left
  3. Championing automation in the CICD DevOps cycle
  4. Contributing to team ceremonies and planning sessions
  5. Collaborating across development and testing to reduce handover times and focus on the definition of done and the SDLC
  6. Pairing or mobbing with the engineering team
  7. Driving continual improvement, identifying inefficiencies, and facilitating change
  8. Supporting delivery objectives, lifecycle management, and technical debt

Due to the volume of applications, we reserve the right to close this advert early to manage interest. If you're interested, please apply promptly.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience working in high-performing engineering teams
  • Experience building synchronous and asynchronous solutions with the Microsoft Azure stack using .NET, including Azure functions, app services, service bus, and storage
  • A track record of implementing well-tested, high-quality code
  • Experience building CI/CD YAML pipelines and infrastructure as code (Bicep or ARM preferred)
  • Front-end web experience is a plus
  • Ability to maintain code quality and standards
  • Knowledge of integrating with Salesforce is a bonus
  • Knowledge of Azure B2C is an asset

As a precondition, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the UK.

What we offer:

  • A competitive salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience
  • Annual performance-based bonus
