LendInvest, a UK FinTech, seeks a Full Stack Engineer to build, maintain and improve applications across frontend and backend. You will join a cross-functional team delivering features with a pragmatic approach, learning new technologies and collaborating across product, QA, data and platform specialists.

You will contribute to APIs, integrations and scalable services using PHP/Symfony, JavaScript/TypeScript and React, with a focus on code quality and production readiness within AWS/Kubernetes

Formación

• Commercial software development experience or equivalent demonstrable work.
• Experience with at least one backend language (PHP preferred; Python/JS/Node.js also relevant).
• Experience building modern web apps with JavaScript/TypeScript (commercial or demonstrable).
• Experience with a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular).
• Understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend interaction.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Understanding of Git and source control.
• Familiarity with automated testing and its importance.
• Fundamental software engineering concepts: maintainability, separation of concerns, reusable code.
• Methodical problem-solving approach.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain features across web applications and services.
• Work across backend and frontend to broaden skill set.
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations between systems.
• Contribute to applications using PHP/Symfony, JavaScript/TypeScript, React.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product to translate requirements into solutions.
• Investigate and resolve bugs and production issues.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and modern delivery practices.
• Operate applications deployed in AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Contribute to engineering standards, documentation and practices.
• Ensure quality from development to production with mentoring from seniors.
• Continue developing technical skills with team support.
