Location: Remote (UK-based) with occasional team meetups in Manchester/London

Hours: 40 hours/week

At MYT Shutters, we are expanding our software engineering team. We develop in-house advanced online ordering and automated production systems that are essential for our operations, allowing us to efficiently process customer orders and optimize manufacturing.

MYT Shutters is a rapidly growing shutter manufacturer with a factory in China and offices worldwide. We focus on delivering high-quality window shutters and developing innovative products.

About the Role

We seek a Full Stack Engineer to build and scale our global manufacturing and logistics platform, primarily working with Angular and Node.js/GraphQL. The role involves full-stack responsibilities, ideal for someone with 2–3 years’ experience and a strong foundation in modern front-end development.

Tech Stack

• Frontend: Angular, RxJS, TypeScript

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain features across front and back end
• Collaborate with users and teams to refine functionality
• Write clear, testable, modular code
• Enhance GraphQL APIs and backend services
• Contribute to architectural decisions
• Debug and optimize performance
• Participate in code reviews

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 2+ years software development experience
• 1+ year Angular (v10+) experience
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills
• Experience with APIs (REST or GraphQL)
• Some Node.js back-end experience or willingness to learn
• Understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture
• Proficiency with Git
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication in a remote team
• Ability to own features end-to-end

Desirable:

• Experience with GraphQL (Apollo)
• PostgreSQL or relational databases
• Familiarity with AWS
• Experience with Nx monorepo
• Testing with Playwright, Jest, etc.
• Exposure to ERP or manufacturing systems
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD
