Job summary

Impactive IT in Wakefield is recruiting a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a growing software business developing a multi-tenant SaaS platform for the equipment rental industry. You’ll work across backend services, frontend applications, APIs, databases and server environments.

A key part of the role will be investigating production issues, finding the root cause and delivering reliable fixes. You will collaborate across PHP, Vue.js, TypeScript and SQL Server, with opportunities to work on

Qualifications

• Experience delivering full-stack software solutions for SaaS platforms.
• Proficient with PHP, Vue.js, TypeScript, and SQL Server.
• Experience with APIs, relational databases, and cloud/server infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of architecture, testing and Git.
• Calm, proactive ownership from issue to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical and production issues across the platform.
• Develop and deploy fixes, enhancements and improvements.
• Work across PHP, Vue.js, TypeScript, SQL Server and APIs.
• Support releases, deployments and incident resolution.
• Improve platform performance, stability and maintainability.
• Use Claude Code to accelerate development without compromising quality.

You’ll work across backend services, frontend applications, APIs, databases and server environments. What you’ll be doing:

• Resolving technical and production issues across the platform
• Developing and deploying fixes, enhancements and improvements
• Working across PHP, Vue.js, TypeScript, SQL Server and APIs
• Supporting releases, deployments and incident resolution
• Improving platform performance, stability and maintainability
• Using tools such as Claude Code to accelerate development without compromising quality

What we’re looking for:

• Full-stack software engineering experience
• Experience with APIs, relational databases and cloud/server infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• An understanding of architecture, testing and Git
• A calm, proactive approach and ownership through to resolution
• Experience with PHP, Vue.js, TypeScript, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, CI/CD or multi-tenant SaaS platforms would be particularly useful.
