Their mission? To reduce the emotional and financial burden of family-building journeys and make them more accessible, inclusive, and humane. This isn't just another tech job. It’s a chance to use your skills to make a measurable, deeply personal impact on people’s lives. If you’re an engineer who finds meaning in building purpose-driven products, you’ll feel right at home here. The OpportunityOur client is on the hunt for a Full Stack Engineer with a passion for building digital experiences that improve lives. You’ll be developing and scaling the platforms that support lending and insurance products — systems that ease financial pressure for customers navigating complex healthcare journeys. You’ll be part of a small, empowered team moving fast and building things that matter. The ideal candidate is a pragmatic problem-solver who loves clean code, smart systems, and building for impact. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building scalable software that connects users with thoughtfully designed financial solutions (think insurance, underwriting, loan servicing, payments).
  • Taking technical ownership of projects from ideation through delivery.
  • Making product and engineering trade-offs that balance business goals, user experience, and maintainability.
  • Collaborating closely with product, design, operations, and data teams to ship impactful solutions.
  • Contributing to infrastructure, developer tools, testing pipelines, and observability — raising the bar for engineering quality across the board.

Who We're Looking ForYou’ll thrive here if you:

  • Have 3+ years experience working as a full-stack engineer, ideally with a focus on backend systems in a startup or fast-moving environment.
  • Are confident in JavaScript (and ideally TypeScript — that’s their primary language.)
  • Ideally know your way around PostgreSQL.
  • Work well in ambiguity and enjoy solving both technical and user-facing problems.
  • Like working in small, cross-functional teams where everyone contributes beyond their job title.
  • Take ownership of challenges — our client’s product spans healthcare, finance, and insurance, so creative, cross-domain thinking is essential.

Bonus points if you’ve worked with tools like NestJS, Next.js, React, AWS, SQS, or automated infra tools like Pulumi. How They Build

  • Fast, iterative cycles with a bias for action — MVPs, feedback, and quick learning.
  • Deep collaboration across product, engineering, and operations.
  • A strong preference for simplicity, using proven open-source tools wherever possible.
  • Tech stack includes TypeScript, React, Next.js, Nest.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, Vercel, and more.
  • Observability and stability are a priority, with tools like Cloudwatch, Sentry, and Grafana in place.
