Overview

Full Stack Software Engineer (Backend Focus, Python/TypeScript, AI)

London Hybrid (x1 week in office, West London | £80,000 - £100,000 per annum + Equity)

We’re partnering with a high-energy, VC-backed AI company on a mission to democratise technology for Small-Medium businesses like construction companies, real estate agencies, automotive shops, and other non-tech sectors that haven’t historically had access to advanced tools.

With AI, these companies can boost productivity, simplify operations, and increase their performance.

They have hundreds of existing clients and are now expanding the team as demand for their services has grown.

Responsibilities

• Work in a small, experienced product team to deliver innovative AI-driven products.
• Build scalable back-end systems (Python, Django, FastAPI, Flask) and modern front-end interfaces (React, Angular, Vue).
• Collaborate closely with engineering leadership in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Solve complex problems, contribute to architecture decisions, and bring ideas from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience using AI tools for software development automation (e.g. Gemini, Cloud Code, Grok Code Assist, Copilot, or similar) – this is essential, can be commercial or via personal projects.
• 3–7+ years of software development experience (across Python and ideally TypeScript).
• 3+ years of experience developing with backend web technologies, such as Django, FastAPI, Flask.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies would be a big plus.
• Comfortable using GitHub in collaborative workflows.
• Excited by AI and LLMs, and motivated to explore new ways to leverage them in real-world applications.
