Job summary

Job description

Full Stack Engineer - Contract | London | Hybrid

I'm recruiting for Full Stack Engineers to join an exciting software development programme, building and enhancing scalable applications across web and mobile platforms.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work across both front-end and back-end development, delivering secure, high-performance solutions.

You'll collaborate with product teams, designers and fellow engineers to develop new functionality, integrate APIs and improve application performance. The role offers a varied technical environment where you'll contribute to application design, development, testing and ongoing optimisation.

Key Skills:

• Strong Java or Python development skills, ideally with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Solid HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Practical experience building applications with React.
• Understanding of React Hooks, Redux, Context or similar state management approaches.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and implementing MVC architecture and design patterns.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorisation, including JWT and OAuth2.
• Strong SQL skills across MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle, including query optimisation.

Experience with microservices, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes or Generative AI integrations would also be beneficial.

Location: London, with three days per week in the office and two days working remotely.

Contract: Initial three-month visibility, with potential quarterly extensions.

Rate: Excellent Day Rate Available.
