A leading NHS Trust in Coventry is seeking a Full Stack Developer to enhance data automation and analytics efforts. You will lead the development of applications transitioning from Excel to modern cloud-based services. The Commercial Informatics Unit is a growing team of Developers and Data Scientists with the remit for innovation in data analytics and visualisation within the NHS. The team’s principles foster creativity and continuous improvement. The role initially focuses on the creation and maintenance of VBA automations and Excel-based systems, with a transition over time to a modern cloud microservices architecture and open source frameworks, libraries, and databases. You will lead in creating interactive and intuitive applications to aid in policy and decision making as well as direct patient care, participating in the design and creation of scalable applications and services using cloud-native technologies and clean, functional code.

As a full stack developer you’ll work with VBA, Power Query and Excel macros to increase automation within financial management. As we move away from heavy reliance on Excel, the focus will gradually shift to microservice-based applications using the Microsoft stack (C#, SQL Server, Razor, JQuery, CSS).
