Job Description:

Role Overview

Role Overview

We’re seeking a capable and motivated Full-Stack Developer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is excited to contribute to the design and development of modern, scalable applications. You will work across the full software lifecycle—designing, building, and iterating on both internal tooling and client-facing solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements, and is proactive in delivering reliable, elegant solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to shape impactful products and contribute to our technical direction, while working alongside experienced engineers, designers, and product managers.

We’re building modern systems and value thoughtful contributors who want to make a real impact through their code, problem-solving, and collaboration.

Our key technologies, and you don’t need experience with all of these - we value adaptable developers eager to learn include:

  • Frontend: React, TypeScript, tRPC, OpenAPI + Codegen, Nx

  • Backend: Node.js, Java, Spring, Hibernate

  • Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Terraform, Lambda, Aurora, Kubernetes

  • Data: Snowflake, Postgres, Airflow

  • Auth & Design: Okta + OIDC, Figma

  • Tooling: GitLab, CI/CD pipelines

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive, accessible, and responsive user interfaces, from wireframes through to implementation

  • Own projects end-to-end—from idea to deployment and post-release improvement

  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code across the stack

  • Contribute to automated testing at all levels, including unit, integration, and end-to-end

  • Engage in backend development where needed, ideally with or open to learning Java/Spring/Hibernate

  • Apply strong database design principles, and contribute to data modelling best practices

  • Enhance and maintain CI/CD workflows to support rapid, reliable releases

  • Actively contribute to shared documentation and internal standards

  • Follow engineering governance, including compliance with security policies and operational risk procedures

  • Experience / Competencies

    Essential

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience

  • Solid experience as a developer, working with React, TypeScript, and Node.js

  • Ability to write robust, production-ready code, with attention to performance and maintainability

  • Demonstrated experience owning or leading delivery of software features or projects

  • A collaborative approach to solving problems and working across teams

  • Desired

  • Interest in or experience building modern web applications

  • Exposure to or familiarity with Java, Spring, and Hibernate

  • Willingness to learn new tools and languages as our tech stack evolves

  • Interest in or experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • A continuous improvement mindset, especially around automation, performance, and delivery processes
