Job summary

Unico Recruitment London is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer for an office-based role in Borehamwood. The role focuses on Laravel backend and Vue frontend development, building business-critical platforms and dashboards. You will own features end-to-end from development to deployment.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience, with strong PHP/Laravel and Vue.js skills, and a passion for delivering robust, scalable software in a finance-sector environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in PHP with Laravel 8+ (Eloquent, migrations, queues, events, Blade).
• Strong Vue 3 experience with SFCs and Composition/Options API.
• Solid MySQL knowledge including indexing and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new features across core business workflows and dashboards.
• Develop reporting dashboards in Vite/Vue from data to charts and tables.
• Build and maintain queue jobs, reporting processes, and PDF/Excel generation.
• Work with third-party integrations and external APIs.
• Improve automated test coverage and front-end build as the platform evolves.
• Take ownership of features through the development lifecycle with colleagues.
• Contribute to a mature, business-critical codebase.
