Full Stack Developer – Hybrid (Bournemouth)

Location: Bournemouth (Hybrid – 2 days on-site per week)

Contract Type: Inside IR35 Contract -6 months

Skills: Oracle, Unix, Python, Kafka, CI/CD, Java, GitLab, SWIFT, ISO 20022

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer for a contract position based in Bournemouth. This role requires expertise across full-stack development, Oracle databases, Unix scripting, message brokers, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications

Optimize Oracle databases and perform performance tuning for large datasets

Develop scripts using Unix shell and/or Python

Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and environment management

Work in a 100% Agile environment with regular sprint deliveries

Contribute to application architecture and system integration

Support financial messaging systems, ensuring compatibility with standards like SWIFT, MX, ISO 20022

Engage in AML/Sanctions screening and compliance-related projects

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with:

Oracle / SQL

Unix / Python scripting

Application servers (e.g., Tomcat)

ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence

Windows, TWS, IBM MQ, and Apache Kafka

Familiarity with payments messaging formats (SWIFT, MX, ISO 20022)

Experience in AML, sanctions screening, or similar compliance applications

Solid understanding of Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
