IBM Consulting UK is seeking a Full Stack Application Developer to support the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of digital services within a UK public sector environment. You will work across frontend and backend technologies to deliver secure, accessible and user-focused applications in line with government standards.

Qualifications

Experience developing and maintaining full stack web applications.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and modern architecture.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
Build and support backend services and APIs using Node.js.
Design, query, and maintain PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
Support scripting, automation, and data processing activities using Python where required.
Contribute to solution design, code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
Investigate and resolve defects, bugs, and performance issues.
Work with stakeholders across delivery teams and ensure alignment with security, accessibility, and data protection standards.
