Full Stack Developer: JavaScript

South Oxford: Hybrid Working

GBP 50,000 - GBP 60,000

We have partnered with a highly successful Edtech business that is looking for a Full Stack Developer specialising in JavaScript to join their growing team in South Oxford. The company is a leader in its industry, providing services to students, universities, and employers across the UK.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will help build a major platform used by students to develop their employability skills. You will work in a full stack environment, developing web applications using JavaScript and JS frameworks. You will be part of a cross-functional agile team supporting the product suite within a team of 4-5 members.

The role is based just south of Oxford with a hybrid working pattern of 2-3 days in the office per week.

Essential Skills

• JavaScript/TypeScript
• JS Frameworks: React or Vue
• Node.js, REST APIs, OpenAPI, SQL
• GitLab, CI/CD Pipelines
• Good collaboration skills
• Ability to manage large codebases and understand design patterns
• Experience working with different stakeholders

Desired Skills

• AWS, Microservices, Docker
