Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience recruiting for Engineers or skilled trade professionals i.e. Electricians, Mechanics, Plumbers, Engineers etc.
• Experience recruiting for high volume roles within engineering, technical specialisms or skilled trade
• Experience recruiting for marine, or cruise industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, talent mapping, and proactive talent pooling techniques
• Experience with ATS, job boards, and social media recruiting tools. Smartsheets a plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for engineers and skilled trade professionals (electricians, mechanics, plumbers, engineers, etc.).
• Develop sourcing strategies to build diverse pipelines for current and future needs
• Identify and engage talent through direct sourcing, networks, referrals and talent pools
• Conduct competency-based interviews to align candidates with shipboard role requirements
• Ensure timely communication with candidates from initial contact to onboarding
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and selection criteria
• Work with operational leaders to understand workforce plans and shipboard schedules
• Provide talent market insights and recruitment trend analysis to align strategies with business goals
• Manage expectations by defining timelines, processes, and deliverables
• Coordinate hiring events, virtually and on-site, to meet acquisition goals
