Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Transport Planner for a role in Stoney Stanton. You will manage driver communications, coordinate deliveries, and keep orders moving efficiently across the driver network.

The role involves taking calls from drivers, dispatching orders, informing customers of delivery changes, and handling order processing. DBS check required; immediate start through 31 March 2027 with temp-to-perm potential.

Qualifications

• Experience completing general admin duties; computer literate.
• Customer service or transport experience beneficial.
• Geographical knowledge helpful but not essential.

Transport Planner

Competitive Pay:

Earn £13.85 per hour, 30 hours per week plus OT as required, overtime rates of £20.78 per hour, Weekend rates £20.78 per hour.

Shifts

Friday to Monday OR Wednesday to Saturday - 0600 - 1400 hrs.

Responsibilities

• The role will include taking incoming calls from drivers, assisting with queries and arranging deliveries.
• Despatching orders to customers through optimum use of the driver network.
• The role will also involve making outgoing calls to customers to inform them of any delivery changes and re-routing drivers to deal with urgent orders.
• Order management processing
