Carr's Billington Agriculture is seeking a customer-focused HGV Fuel Tanker Driver to ensure safe, efficient and professional delivery of fuel products to our rural customers from the East side depot.

You will load daily, perform multi-drop deliveries of kerosene, road diesel and gas oil, and comply with all safety and regulatory requirements. You will also support depot operations and strive to exceed customer expectations while representing the company with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Essential HGV C licence and clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills for customer and depot interaction.
• Willingness to engage in continuous improvement and safety practices.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Safely load vehicle daily from depot or terminals.
• Deliver multi-drop loads of kerosene, road diesel and gas oil to rural and commercial customers.
• Comply with Health, Safety, Environmental and Transport regulations including tachograph rules.
• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture at all times.

The JOB

As an HGV Fuel Tanker Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional delivery of fuel products to our customers while supporting the day-to-day operations of the depot.

• Safely load your vehicle each day from the company depot or designated fuel terminals.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries of kerosene, road diesel, and gas oil to both domestic and commercial customers.
• Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Transport regulations, including daily vehicle inspections, driver risk assessments, HGV compliance requirements and tachograph legislation.
• Champion and actively promote a positive Health & Safety culture in all aspects of your work.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure operational targets and customer expectations are consistently achieved.
• Support wider depot operations when required, including holiday cover and assisting other depots across the network.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, building positive relationships and seeking opportunities to exceed customer expectations.
• Participate in training, development activities, monthly Health & Safety meetings and toolbox talks to maintain professional standards and compliance.
• Act as an ambassador for the business, representing the company professionally and promoting our values and brand at all times.
• Adhere to all Company and Group policies and procedures, with particular focus on Safety, Health, Environmental and compliance standards.

Essential

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED

• HGV Category C licence.
• Strong, professional communication skills.
• Willingness for continuous improvement.
• Ability to work well within a team and as an individual.

Desirable

• ADR including Class 3 in tanks - training will be provided if required.
• Previous experience of Fuel tanker driver and delivery of fuel.
