Job summary

Generator-Power is seeking a diligent technician to carry out routine tests on fuel tanks and perform planned service and maintenance on tanks and equipment. This role requires meticulous work, adherence to health and safety guidelines, and a commitment to keeping work areas tidy and paperwork up to date.

You will support loading/unloading of vehicles, assist engineers and customers with technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement across depots.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine tests on fuel tanks.
• Carry out planned service and maintenance work on tanks and equipment.
• Preparation of fuel tanks.
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Assist with housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
• Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure.
• Safeguard all Company assets; ensure correct paperwork for departures.
• Promote teamwork and co-operation across Generator Power depots.
• Treat all employees and customers professionally and with respect.
• Always act in the best interests of the Generator Power Group of Companies.
• Work in a way that ensures safe working practices.
• Follow Health Safety Quality and Environmental guidelines (ISO 9001:14001 and OHSAS 18001).
• Contribute to continuous improvement.
• Carry out reasonable ad-hoc duties as requested by Line Manager or Management.
• Promote teamwork and assist others.
• Support Engineers and customers with technical issues.
• Ensure Company vehicle or loan vehicle is kept clean and tidy.
