Job summary

Speedy Fuels is seeking a reliable Van Driver to deliver fuel and related equipment across London. The role involves loading and unloading, pre/post-trip checks and liaising with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.

Applicants should have 2+ years of commercial driving experience and a UK licence with minimal points. ADR training can be provided if needed; on-site training will occur at West Drayton with accommodation and expenses covered.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• ADR qualification preferred but training can be provided.
• Experience driving vans and making commercial deliveries.
• Physically fit with manual handling and lifting.
• Strong awareness of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a van to deliver fuel and fuel-related equipment to customer sites across London.
• Transport items including fuel barrels, IBCs, fuel bowsers and associated equipment.
• Safely load and unload deliveries using the appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Complete deliveries efficiently and within scheduled timeframes.
• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety checks.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling and transporting fuel and hazardous materials.
• Work closely with the logistics team to coordinate routes and deliveries.
• Maintain a professional and helpful approach when dealing with customers.
