Job summary

MJ Quinn Integrated Services Ltd is recruiting across multiple regions to install, test, and maintain Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) services on Openreach networks. The role involves visiting customer premises and working on the fibre network to deliver high-quality installations and excellent customer service.

You will install, test, and commission CSPs, ONTs, and related equipment, diagnose faults, and collaborate with planners and management to meet safety, productivity and customer experience

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (min 24 months, max 6 penalty points).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Comfortable working at height.
• Basic IT and computer literacy skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the designated working area.

Responsibilities

• Complete FTTP installations at residential and business premises.
• Install fibre cable from distribution points to customer premises.
• Install and commission CSPs, ONTs and associated equipment.
• Carry out testing to ensure successful end-to-end fibre connectivity.
• Diagnose and rectify fibre network faults.
• Update handheld devices and company systems.
• Collaborate with planners, controllers and management teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the FTTP workstream.
• Act as the face of MJ Quinn and Openreach at appointments.
• Deliver a professional, courteous and customer-focused service.
