Job summary

Comex-2000 is seeking skilled Openreach FTTH engineers (self-employed) to perform end-to-end installation and maintenance on Full Fibre networks across residential and business customers.

Role involves network build-outs, customer installations, and on-site safety compliance, with hands-on work in overhead and underground environments. Strong accreditation and practical telecom knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• NRSWA SLG and PIA accreditations are preferred.
• Experience with overhead and underground PIA networks is required.
• Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, and K8 are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end installation and maintenance of telecom services on Full Fibre networks.
• Install new telecom services by running overhead lines and subducting ducts.
• Visit customer premises to set up internal cabling and ensure services work.
• Maintain live network infrastructure, ducts, and poles.
• Follow strict safety procedures and keep sites clean and safe.
• Record work and keep systems updated in a timely manner.
