An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6/Band 7 Dietitian. This is a fixed-term contract for one year, offering a chance to upskill and take on new challenges. The role involves working with the North Middlesex University Hospital's Dietetic Department, part of the Therapies group. The post includes covering the critical care unit complex and leading the dietetic surgical team, in partnership with the current Band 7 dietitian for critical care. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to provide excellent service is essential.
Main duties of the job
Provide services to critical care, including the Trust Nutrition team. Develop and update policies and procedures, participate in research and audits, and contribute to education programs. Lead on critical care education resources, participate in seven-day service, and supervise student training. Act as joint clinical team lead for critical care and supervise the critical care and parenteral nutrition team.
