Job Description:

We’re currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a leading manufacturing business in Redditch on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity to support the Payroll Manager during an exciting time of transformation as the business transitions to a new, paperless payroll system.

The Role:

This position is ideal for someone with payroll experience who enjoys process improvement and is confident adapting to new systems. You’ll be supporting the Payroll Manager with day-to-day tasks while playing a key part in helping the department go digital.

Working Hours:

Monday & Tuesday only

7:30am – 4:30pm (with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break)

Some flexibility on start/finish times may be considered

Responsibilities:

Assist with payroll processing and employee data entry

Support the transition from manual to digital processes

Help implement and use the new payroll system effectively

Maintain accurate records during the system changeover

Respond to payroll queries and support compliance with relevant legislation

What You'll Need:

Previous payroll experience is essential

Confident with systems and data accuracy

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

A proactive attitude and ability to work independently

Experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential)
