Summary of Role Purpose:

Assistant Manager in the FS Financial Transformation Team focussed on project delivery within our insurance sector practice.

Description of the role:

In this role, you will work as part of a cross-functional team, supporting insurance sector clients from diagnosis to implementation of finance transformation projects.

Role dimensions:

Management:

  • Support delivery of multiple workstreams of finance transformation projects, managing deliverables to budget.
  • Ensure high-quality, appropriate level of deliverables.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members.

Stakeholder Interaction & challenges:

  • Assist senior staff with client stakeholder management.
  • Contribute to proposition development and RFP responses.
  • Build relationships with clients at the workstream level.

Risk, Accountability & Governance:

  • Support engagement risk management procedures.
  • Identify and escalate risks/issues with proposed solutions.

The Person:

Essential experience includes a good understanding of the insurance industry, key regulations, finance processes, roles, and structures. Experience with finance transformation projects such as ERP implementation, IFRS 17, Solvency II, ESG reporting, or insurance company auditing is preferred. Strong project management, analytical, presentation, and multitasking skills are required.
