FSQA Technician – Day Shift

Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM / 12:00 PM Start
Start Date: Immediately

Job Details:

1. Provide leadership to ensure the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Quality Assurance Program.
2. Adopt and incorporate quality methods into daily work activities.
3. Inspect production materials for defects, correct issues, or remove defective items from production as needed.
4. Report defects to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
5. Promote and advocate for quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.
6. Complete and maintain quality control documentation, including monitoring and documenting key quality indicators.
7. Ensure all elements of the company's Quality System are implemented and maintained, with emphasis on product safety, regulatory compliance, and product consistency.
8. Provide support and training to plant employees to maintain quality awareness and commitment to zero defects.
9. Ensure effective application of all food safety principles and legal requirements.
10. Monitor temperatures of the production floor and coolers, and maintain water sanitizer temperature.
11. Support production supervisors to ensure proper traceability is maintained.
12. Assist in conducting and analyzing shelf life testing.

Experience/Competencies:

1. Secondary Education.
2. Good oral and written communication skills.
3. Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
4. Flexible schedule.
