Job Description

In this position, your role is essential in upholding compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax processes for employees on international assignments. This position is key in handling the tax consequences of global mobility and facilitating a smooth transition for employees across different countries. Your main objective is to reduce tax-related risks and costs, while ensuring that both the organization and its employees adhere to relevant tax laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and file tax returns for globally mobile employees within deadlines.
  • Advise on tax planning, social security, and assignment structures using tax treaties and efficient benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate payroll tax and social security reporting.
  • Educate employees on international tax obligations and support with tax equalization/protection policies.
  • Analyze compensation data to calculate tax liabilities and prepare documentation for tax optimization.
  • Maintain audit-ready records and stay updated on international tax law changes.
  • Liaise with clients on business travel compliance and manage trip assessments and updates.
  • Oversee engagement financials: billing, collections, KPIs, and metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to grow client accounts and support the implementation of tax strategies.
  • Conduct research on country-specific tax issues and collaborate cross-functionally for integrated solutions.
