Base Location: London / Regions plus network of 20 offices nationally: KPMG Office Locations

Summary of Role Purpose:

KPMG's FS Forensic Financial Services practice is a key contributor to the Firm's strategic growth initiatives. We have achieved rapid year-on-year growth and have ambitious targets to maintain momentum. We possess a strong pipeline of work and develop innovative solutions for our clients. We now seek an experienced Assistant Manager to help convert our pipeline, expand current offerings, and develop our technology propositions.

Assistant Managers manage the delivery of financial crime projects, assisting clients in assessing, reviewing, testing, and improving their financial crime systems using Data Analytics tools. They collaborate across FS Consulting to deliver optimal solutions.

An Assistant Manager with Technology SME expertise will support various financial crime projects focusing on review, audit, assurance, and advisory engagements, including designing approaches and executing reviews.

Responsibilities include:
  • Combine financial crime and data analytics knowledge to deliver high-standard projects.
  • Leverage expertise to develop proposals and generate new business.
  • Manage and mentor Technology Analysts.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory landscape and flag issues.
  • Develop financial crime policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to proposals and client propositions.
Requirements:
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Financial Crime knowledge across transaction monitoring, screening, and due diligence.
  • Experience in risk management and adherence to standards.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets using various systems.
  • Project management skills balancing quality, planning, and costs.
  • Business development experience including proposals and client engagement.
  • Excellent report writing and quality control skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for marketing and developing the Forensic practice.
