Prestige Recruitment Specialists is hiring a Fruit & Veg Prep Operative for our Hull (HU4) location. You will work on the evening to night shift from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, handling a range of fresh produce with strong knife skills. The role emphasizes food safety, speed, and teamwork in a busy prep environment.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, work in a cold wet environment, and be reliable and punctual. Competitive hourly pay is offered with a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing, peeling, trimming and cutting a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables.
• Using knives safely and confidently to meet preparation requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Checking the quality and freshness of produce.
• Following preparation instructions and production targets.
• Keeping workstations clean and tidy throughout the shift.
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily deadlines.
