Job summary

Cando Personnel in Gravesend is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Quality Controller/QC to join the team and perform quality checks on fresh-cut fruit products. You will help ensure food safety, hygiene and customer standards are consistently met.

Qualifications

• Experience in QC or quality control.
• Experience in food production or manufacturing.
• Food hygiene and safety certified.
• Able to check product quality and standards.
• Reliable and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular quality checks on fresh-cut fruit products to ensure they meet company and customer standards.
• Inspect product appearance, quality, weight, packaging and labelling.
• Identify and report any damaged, incorrect or out-of-specification products.
• Complete quality checks and production records accurately and on time.
• Work closely with the production team to resolve quality issues quickly.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Monitor production areas and help maintain consistent quality standards.
• Support the team in maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
