Job summary

Vicarage Nurseries in Evesham is seeking workers for a soft fruit farm season. You will pick fruit and participate in husbandry tasks such as tunnel construction, weeding, irrigation, and general site upkeep. Roles are outdoors with early starts possible, on-site, full-time, contract work.

Training will be provided where needed; accommodation parking is nearby, and shifts may vary with crop cycles. Applicants welcome from students.

Summary

A Soft fruit farm at Bretforton Evesham are looking for people to work from Mid -June through to November (depending on crop). Working in a friendly environment - must be able to work at pace as part of a diverse team, picking soft fruit and/or Husbandry work, which involves tunnel construction, weeding, irrigation, tidying and cleaning. Will need to be flexible on times worked. Average 40 hours per week (over 5 days on rotation) with early starts when required.

Must be prepared to work outdoors under poly tunnels occasionally.

Will need adequate clothing and footwear suitable for all weathers and changes in climate.

No car parking available on site but there is parking available nearby on the roads around village.

You will be paid national Living/Minimum Wage (piecework rates will be applied to some of the jobs like the soft fruit picking).

Training will be provided initially if required.
