Job summary

Company Shop Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our Frozen warehouse team in Darton, Barnsley. The role involves packing, labelling, picking in a cold environment, and allocating stock while maintaining safety and quality standards. Training across multiple operational areas is provided.

You will work 40 hours per week, 7am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, in a freezer environment with PPE supplied. Attractive benefits include on-site parking and staff perks.

Qualifications

Experience of working in an operational environment.
Ability to work in a cold store (up to -20°C).
Computer literacy, able to use a warehouse management system and Microsoft Office software.
Drive and focus for Health & Safety as well as Food Safety.
Teamwork and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Packing and labelling of products, following target KPIs.
Picking of stock in the freezer, with guidance from the Warehouse Management System.
Allocation of stock from pallets to store pallets and ensure accuracy.
